6 Days From Marrakech To Casablanca

Day 1: Marrakech Arrival – Guided City Tour

Discover the Red City of Marrakech

We begin our journey in Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant and historic cities. With a local guide, we explore:

• Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the lively heart of the city
• The beautiful Bahia Palace
• The historic Koutoubia Mosque
• The colorful souks filled with traditional crafts

We wander through the medina, experiencing the energy, aromas, and traditions that define Marrakech.

Overnight stay in a riad or hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech – Essaouira Coastal Escape

Journey to the Atlantic Coast

After breakfast, we travel west toward the charming coastal city of Essaouira. Along the way, we pass through argan tree landscapes and may spot goats climbing the trees.

Explore Essaouira – The Windy City

In Essaouira, we discover:

• The historic medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
• The scenic Skala de la Kasbah overlooking the ocean
• The bustling fishing port
• Beautiful sandy beaches

We enjoy fresh seafood and a relaxed atmosphere by the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 3: Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat

Drive Along the Atlantic Coast

We leave Essaouira and head north along the Atlantic coastline toward Casablanca.

Visit Casablanca – Morocco’s Economic Capital

In Casablanca, we visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, partly built over the ocean.

We continue our journey to Rabat, the capital of Morocco.

Explore Rabat

In Rabat, we visit:

• The iconic Hassan Tower
• The Mausoleum of Mohammed V
• The Kasbah of the Udayas with its stunning ocean views

Day 4: Rabat – Chefchaouen (The Blue City)

Journey to the Rif Mountains

We travel north toward the breathtaking Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. The drive offers scenic views of hills, forests, and traditional villages.

Explore Chefchaouen

Known as the “Blue Pearl,” Chefchaouen is famous for its:

• Blue-painted streets and houses
• Peaceful medina atmosphere
• Artisan shops and local crafts

We spend the afternoon exploring and enjoying the tranquil beauty of this unique town.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Visit Volubilis – Roman Ruins

We depart Chefchaouen and head toward Volubilis, an ancient Roman site with well-preserved mosaics and ruins.

Explore Meknes – Imperial City

We continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where we visit:

• Bab Mansour Gate
• Royal stables and granaries

Arrival in Fes

We arrive in Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco.

Day 6: Fes Guided Tour – Return to Casablanca

Explore the Historic City of Fes

We begin with a guided tour of Fes, exploring:

• The ancient Fes el-Bali medina (UNESCO site)
• Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world
• Traditional tanneries and souks

Return to Casablanca

After the visit, we travel back to Casablanca, where the tour concludes.
