4 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Departure from Fes

We begin our journey early in the morning, leaving Fes and heading south through the Middle Atlas Mountains.

Ifrane – The Switzerland of Morocco

Our first stop is Ifrane, known for its clean streets, alpine-style houses, and refreshing mountain atmosphere.

Cedar Forest of Azrou

We continue to the Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques. Here we enjoy a peaceful break in nature.

Ziz Valley Scenic Drive

We travel through the spectacular Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves, cliffs, and traditional villages.

Arrival in Merzouga Desert

By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara.

We begin a camel trekking adventure across the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoying a magical sunset.

Overnight in Desert Camp

We spend the night in a comfortable desert camp with dinner, traditional music, and a sky full of stars.

Day 2: Full Day Desert Exploration – Merzouga Area

Sunrise Over the Dunes

We wake early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes—one of the most unforgettable moments of the journey.

Nomad Families & Desert Culture

We explore the desert region by 4×4, visiting:

• Nomadic Berber families
• Traditional desert settlements
• Fossil-rich areas near Erfoud

Khamlia Village – Gnawa Music

We visit Khamlia village, famous for its spiritual Gnawa music and welcoming locals.

Relaxed Desert Experience

The rest of the day is free to relax at the hotel or enjoy optional desert activities like sandboarding or quad biking.

Second Night in Merzouga Area

We stay overnight in a desert hotel or riad near the dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Rissani Traditional Market

We leave the desert and stop in Rissani, an ancient trading town with a vibrant traditional souk.

Todra Gorges – Majestic Canyon

We continue to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where towering rock walls create one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural sites.

We take time to walk and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Arrival in Dades Valley

By evening, we arrive in the stunning Dades Valley, known for its unique rock formations and beautiful landscapes.

Overnight stay in a hotel with dinner and breakfast.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

Valley of Roses & Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we travel through the Valley of Roses and reach Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara.

Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO Site

We visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a historic ksar and UNESCO World Heritage Site used in many films.

Crossing the High Atlas Mountains

We continue through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, crossing the High Atlas Mountains with incredible panoramic views.

Arrival in Marrakech

By evening, we arrive in Marrakech, marking the end of our 4 days tour from Fes to Marrakech.
